All Adelante footwear and accessories are made-to-order. Once you place your order, we'll move your products right into production with our team of talented artisans in Guatemala. 

We've built our core business around a Made-To-Order model because it enables us to offer far more shoe sizes than other brands, plus an exciting degree of aesthetic customization. That's the Magic of Made-To-Order!

We promise your pair will be worth the wait.

All Adelante products are made-to-order and will be delivered direct to the delivery address provided at checkout within six weeks of purchase.

For footwear, customers are eligible for one size-based exchange per fit group. Shoes are built on a form called a last, which determines their shape and fit. Styles made on the same last — fit group — will fit alike. 

Your original pair does not need to be returned and may be kept or gifted at your discretion. Due to our made-to-order model, we do not offer returns for a refund.

The following re-make fees are charged for exchanges:

• Marina, Cordoba, Isabella, Serena — $100
• Camila, Sabina, Sofia — $120
• Granada, Merida, Elena, Catalina, Carmen, Cozy Havana — $130
• Reina, Condesa — $175

Cancelation of any order may be made within 24 hours of purchase.

We offer free shipping for orders within the USA and Canada.

For customers outside of the United States and Canada, we charge a $65 flat rate for international shipping.

Import Duties — *Applies to orders placed August 13, 2026 and onwards*

Due to recent US trade policy updates, orders entering the US may be subject to a 10% import duty, which DHL or UPS charges to customers upon delivery. Once your order ships from Guatemala, please monitor your email for any duty-related notifications from DHL or UPS. Adelante is not responsible for the payment of import duties.

Periodically apply natural leather conditioner to scratches and marks. 

Waterproof your shoes with a natural waterproofing agent such as Mink Oil. 

You may choose to polish your shoes with a like-color shoe polish, which will cover up any blemishes realized during wear.

Once your order has been placed and processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details. If you would like an update on your order's progress in production, please message our customer service team via email ([email protected]) or the chat on our website. We will check on progress and circle back to you with an update.

Your Adelante order will ship directly from our Guatemala workshop to the delivery address you provide at checkout. Once your orders ships, you will receive a DHL or UPS tracking number to the email provided at checkout.

Yes, we do offer expedited shipping for a flat $50 fee. Please message our customer service team to inquire about expedited shipping.

Shipping Costs

Adelante offers free shipping on products delivered to customers in the United States & Canada. For customers outside of the United States & Canada, we charge a flat $65 rate. 

Shipping Process

Your Adelante order will ship directly from our Guatemala workshop to the delivery address you provide at checkout. Once your orders ships, you will receive a tracking number via the email you provided at checkout.

There is a window of roughly two weeks after an order is placed within which we can generally make adjustments such as size and color. If you need to update your shipping address or contact information, please contact our customer service team immediately after placing your order.

Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of being placed. Please contact our customer service  team within 24 hours of placing your order with your cancelation request. 

Yes they are! Most Adelante footwear styles are made with a Goodyear welt construction, which makes them fully resoleable — not just the rubber outsole, but the leather midsole too. Premium construction methods, plus best-in-class materials and craftsmanship means your Adelante products are built to last a lifetime.

No, we do not currently do repairs — shipping shoes from Guatemala to the USA is a lot easier than going the other way around. However, if you reach out to us, we are happy to recommend a cobbler in your area!
