All Adelante footwear and accessories are made-to-order. Once you place your order, we'll move your products right into production with our team of talented artisans in Guatemala. 

We've built our core business around a Made-To-Order model because it enables us to offer far more shoe sizes than other brands, plus an exciting degree of aesthetic customization. That's the Magic of Made-To-Order!

We promise your pair will be worth the wait.

All Adelante products are made-to-order and are delivered within six weeks of the order.

Orders ship from our workshop in Guatemala. Once your order ships, you will receive DHL or UPS tracking information by email.

Customers may exchange their Adelante shoes for a different size, in the case that their order does not fit.

Original pairs do not need to be returned and may be kept or gifted at the customer's discretion. Due to our made-to-order model, we do not offer returns for a refund.

The following re-make fees are charged for exchanges:

Cancelation of any order may be made within 24 hours of purchase.

We offer free shipping for orders delivered within the United States and Canada.

For orders shipped outside the United States and Canada, we charge a $65 flat shipping rate.

Import duties may be charged by the destination country's customs agency. Customers are responsible for paying any import duties.

Regular care will help keep your Adelante leather shoes looking great.

Everyday care

• Keep socks clean and fresh to help maintain the shoe interior.
• Use cedar shoe trees when your shoes are not in use to help retain their shape.
• If your shoes are exposed to rain, snow, or dirt, use a suitable weather protectant to help protect the leather from moisture and debris.

Cleaning

Clean your shoes before applying conditioner so dirt is not trapped in the leather. Wipe them with a soft, slightly damp cloth or use a horsehair brush to remove excess dirt. Cleaning approximately every five wears is a helpful general guideline.

Conditioning

Condition the leather less frequently, approximately every four to eight months depending on how often you wear the shoes. If the leather feels dry, it may be time to condition it. Apply a small amount of natural leather conditioner with a clean cloth, let it absorb, and buff with a dry cloth.

Once your order has been placed and processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details. If you would like an update on your order's progress in production, please message our customer service team via email ([email protected]) or the chat on our website. We will check on progress and circle back to you with an update.

Your Adelante order will ship directly from our Guatemala workshop to the delivery address you provide at checkout. Once your orders ships, you will receive a DHL or UPS tracking number to the email provided at checkout.

Yes, we do offer expedited shipping for a flat $50 fee. Please message our customer service team to inquire about expedited shipping.

Currency: All Adelante prices are shown in USD.

Shipping costs: Shipping is free for orders delivered within the United States and Canada. For orders shipped outside the United States and Canada, we charge a flat $65 shipping rate.

Delivery timing: All Adelante products are made-to-order and are delivered within six weeks of the order.

Import duties: Orders may be subject to import duties charged by the destination country's customs agency. Customers are responsible for paying these duties.

• A clear photo of the item or items when applicable

If an item is missing, please also check whether your order may have shipped separately and include any packing slip or delivery details you have. Our team will review the information and follow up with next steps.

Some order details, such as size, color, or shipping address, may be adjusted while the order is still unfulfilled and within 14 days of purchase.

Contact our customer service team as soon as possible with your order number and the change you need. We cannot guarantee an update after the order has been fulfilled or after the 14-day window has passed.

Orders can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase as long as they have not been fulfilled.

Yes they are! Most Adelante footwear styles are made with a Goodyear welt construction, which makes them fully resoleable — not just the rubber outsole, but the leather midsole too. Premium construction methods, plus best-in-class materials and craftsmanship means your Adelante products are built to last a lifetime.

No, we do not currently do repairs — shipping shoes from Guatemala to the USA is a lot easier than going the other way around. However, if you reach out to us, we are happy to recommend a cobbler in your area!
